Fred Edman Betsill
Fred Edman Betsill, 86, of Doole died Tuesday, August 11, 1987 at his home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Stacy Cemetery with Rev. Ray Waugh officiating, directed by Colonial Funeral Home of Brady. Born in Stacy, he was a longtime resident of Doole. He owned and operated a service station and was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Alta Betsill of Doole; a daughter, Beverly Benson of San Angelo; a brother, Oscar Betsill of Doole; two sisters, Lela Wiginton of San Angelo and Veda Law of Madera, Calif.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
