Barbara A. Shockey *
Barbara A. Shockey, 86, of Gerry, died on July 3, 2015, at Heritage Village.
She was born Dec. 20, 1928, in Washington, D.C., to Gordon Brown and Marian Frances Bowers Birrel. She married Mark H. Shockey Jr., who preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons: Dr. David Shockey and John Shockey; and a daughter, Kathleen Harris. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Shockey III; a daughter, Carolyn L.; and a sister, Evelyn Benedetti.
Barbara loved and served the Lord faithfully. Her Christian witness touched all who knew her.
Graveside service 8 a.m. Monday in the Gerry Cemetery, Route 60, Gerry. Arrangements by Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville.
