Charles Randall *
Charles “Chuck” D. Randall, 83, of Libertyville died July 3, 2007 at home surrounded by his family. Chuck was born August 1, 1923 in Wausaukee, WI and had lived in Libertyville his entire life.
He was the owner of Chuck’s Barber Shop of Libertyville which he operated until the late 1960‘s. During World War II Chuck had served as a non-commissioned officer for the US Army in the Philippines and Asiatic-Pacific Theaters where he was awarded five overseas service bars. He was a member of the Mundelein American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Anna (nee Brzezinski) of 57 years of marriage, his sons, Charles and Wayne (Pam) both of Libertyville; his grandchildren, Eric, Nicholas and Johnathon; his sister, Rosemary Travetto and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his brothers, Bill (Dorothy) and Verl (Dolores),
Funeral services will be 11AM Saturday, July 7 at McMURROUGH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 101 Park Place, Libertyville (Rt. 176, 1 block East of Milwaukee Ave,) Interment Ascension Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 4-8PM at the funeral chapel. If desired, memorials made to the Libertyville Rescue Squad 1551 North Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, IL 60048 would be greatly appreciated.
