Clarence F. Holstein
Pax – Clarence F. Holstein, 62, died at his home at Pax about 3:20 a.m. Sunday. Death was attributed to a heart attack. He was a retired miner and was last employed by the Mary Francis Coal Co. He was a member of the McDonald Lodge No. 103, Ancient Fee and Accepted Masons at Mount Hope. He was born at Hico, Aug. 5, 1902. Survivors include his wife, Lena; five sons, Donald, Clarence Jr., Gene and Steve, all of Elyria, Ohio, and Jerry of Jackson, Mich.; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Christian of Elyria, Ohio, Mrs. Helen Boyko of Crownsville, Md., and Sandra Holstein at home; and 13 grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel at Mount Hope with the Rev. Roy Tyree in charge. Burial will be in Huse Memorial Park at Fayetteville. The McDonald Lodge members will serve as pallbearers and conduct graveside rites. The body will remain at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope where friends may call after 5 p.m. today.
