VEST, Dawn Ratcliff, age 71, of Roanoke went to be with her Lord Tuesday, October 21,1997. She was the widow of Daniel B. Vest. Mrs. Vest was a long time, faithful member of East End Baptist Church, where she served as church treasurer and worked at the Baptist Community Center. Surviving are a son and his wife, Daniel R. Vest and Val Vest, of New Castle; a sister, Jewel Clark, Roanoke; a brother, Frank Ratcliff, Chesapeake; numerous nieces, nephews and in-law family members and a number of friends. Funeral services will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 23,1997 from Oakey’s North Chapel. Pastor Dave Eppling will officiate. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. Wednesday and the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey’s North Chapel.
