Edward “Paul” Browne II

Edward “Paul” II, aged 77, of Mt. Airy, MD, passed away peacefully on April 13th, .

Paul Browne was a man filled with love and joy. He found Joyce, the love of his life, and was delighted as his family expanded. When it came to Paul, the more people he touched, the happier he was. He marveled at seeing his kids grow and change. He took joy in watching his grandkids and great grandkid playing. Paul thoroughly enjoyed serving his community and his extended tribal family.

Paul served his country by joining the United States Navy to protect the freedoms of the American people. He took pride in what he did and proudly displayed the American flag upon his porch for all to . He supported his fellow veterans and shared his strength by letting them know he was there for them.

Paul joined his local Kiwanis group to show how much he cared for the loving people in his community. He was part of the Methodist church and took great pride in sharing his love of God with others.

Paul was a great man with a big heart and enough love to share with the world.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara ; children: Ed Browne, Chris Browne, Jason (Sukyee Snyder nee Or), and Jeff Cornett (Amy Cornett nee ); grandchildren: Tim and Tom Browne, Randy Snowman (Shannon Snowman nee Sparks), Ethan Cornett and Samara Snyder; great-grandchild, Naomi Snowman; nieces: Denise Rock (Larry Shelmon), Melissa Dulaney (Bill “Bink” Dulaney), and others, along with numerous nephews.

In addition to his parents, Edward Paul Browne and Mary Elizabeth Browne (), he is preceded in death by his loving wife Joyce Browne.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mount Airy, MD 21771 for viewing.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow services at Pine Grove Cemetery, 737 S. Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771.
