Finley “Ed” Wall
Ed Wall, 78, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 18, 1934 in South Charleston, Ohio the son of Arthur and Hazel (Walters) Wall.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of sixty-one years, Arlene (Wilson) Wall of Springfield.
Ed worked at Bonded Oil in Springfield and Toledo for twenty-five years, later went to work for Klosterman Bakery and retired after fifteen years. He also until his death worked as a greeter at Walmart for about three years. Ed and his wife enjoyed going to Flea Markets, Craft Shows, and Auctions.
He is also survived by his children and their spouses: Vicki McCarty of Springfield, Steve and Janie Wall of Toledo, and Tammy and Patrick Coffey of Waterville; five grandchildren: Sara, Holly, William, Tommy, and Jimmy; five great grandchildren, one sister, Polly Hornberger of California, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, “Katie”. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Maxine Guerini, and one brother, Art Wall.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 5-8:00 pm in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am with Chaplain Bruce Vincent officiating.
Burial will be in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
