Flo A Shockey *
Flo Ann (Claycomb) Shockey, 91, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2022, at Vista Veranda Senior Living Center in Ravenna, OH.
She was born on June 20, 1930, at the family farm in Mann's Choice, PA, to Madolyn and Clarence Claycomb, and was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband Roy H. Shockey of Friedens, PA, and her brother Thomas H. Claycomb of Cumberland, MD.
Flo is survived by her daughters Marcia A. Manges of Lancaster, PA, Chris L. Monaghan of Bradenton, FL, and Lisa J. Weicht of Hanover, PA; sisters Nancy J. Roth of Kent, OH and Joan C. Lay of Waco, TX; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She loved visiting with family and friends, drawing and crafts, traveling, shopping and animals (especially Alpacas and her cats), and will always be missed and remembered for her smile and easy laugh.
Private family memorial service at Trinity UCC Church in Mann's Choice, PA and inurnment at Dry Ridge Cemetery will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).
