Ida Bogar
Ida Bogar, 88, died in a Chehalis hospital Thursday following a lingering illness.
She was born April 30, 1885, in Pike County, Ky. She came from Kentucky to Chehalis in 1905. She then moved to the Ethel-Ooalaska area in 1910 where she resided for 62 years.
She had been a resident of the Chehalis-Centralia area for the past two years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas, in 1956.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Hervie (Ressie) Runyon of Ethel; one son, John W. Bogar of Onalaska; two brothers, Everett Keesee of Chehalis; John Keesee of Randle; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Sticklin Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Claquato Cemetery.
