James E. Shockey Jr.
JAMES E. SHOCKEY, JR., 47, of Charles Town, died Wednesday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born in Lonaconing, he was a member of Grand Lodge, Knights of Pythias; Pythian Sisters, Republican Club and Lonaconing Bowling Club.
Surviving are his parents, James E. Shockey, Sr. and Ellen A. (Fazenbaker) Shockey; his widow, Betty (Beeman) Shockey; two sons, Steven Shockey, at home and James S. Shockey, Lonaconing; two sisters, Mrs. John Smith, Lonaconing, and Mrs. Raymond S. Polland, Aliquippa, Pa.; four brothers, Leroy Shockey, Calvin Shockey, Martin Shockey and Gary Shockey, Lonaconing, and one grandchild.
The body is at the Eichhorn funeral Home, where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A service will be conducted here tomorrow at 2 p.m. Rev. John McClain will officiate and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pythian Sisters will conduct memorial services at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
