Jeanette Whittenberger, 87, of Creston, died Thursday, April 24, 2014.

Born on July 30, 1926 in Cuyahoga Falls to the late Charles and Sarah (Garner) Blewitt she was a 1944 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. She was member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church and always enjoyed people, dancing and music.

Surviving are her three sons, Danny (Elizabeth) Whittenberger of Black Mountain, N.C., Gary (Sharon) Whittenberger of Massillon and Dana (Cheryl) Whittenberger of Chippewa Lake; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter in 2001 and brothers, Larry and Richard.

Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. Dr. Edward Kropa officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
