Shockey Roots

Death of Jefferson Shockey.

Mr. Jefferson Shockey died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Robt. Wotring, in Morgantown, W. Va., last Tuesday, in the 78th year of his age. He was buried in Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Winchester on Wednesday morning.

Mr. Shockey is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robt. Wotring, of Morgantown, W. Va., and Miss Jennie Shockey, of Winchester, one son, Mr. Howard Schockey, of Winchester and two brothers, Messrs. Geo. Shockey, of Winchester and Jacob, of Woodstock.

He was a native of Oakland, Morgan county, W. V., but for a number of years resided in Winchester.
