Jordin D Bishop *

Jordin Daniel Bishop aged 18, of Hagerstown MD, peacefully passed away on March 26, 2024.
Jordin was born to Daniel and Tiffany (Diaz) Bishop on July 28, 2005. Jordin was born with Lesch-Nyhan disease.
In addition to his parents, Jordin is survived by his brother Chance “Reno” Bishop, maternal grandparents Kim (Virgil) Shockey; paternal grandparents Daniel (Tammy) Bishop, grandmother Rose Kovatch; aunts Mickie, Melody, Dana (Tony) Tanya, Danielle and Destiny, uncles Greg and Noah and Cory; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents Doris and Jimmy Wilt; paternal great grandparents Carroll and Joyce Bishop, and Mabel (Dawson) Sutphen, paternal step grandmother Teri (Hulshizer) Bishop and paternal step grandfather Robert Kovatch and uncle Kody Shockey.
Jordin was a sweet, loving person who would light up any room and heart. His laughter was infectious. He enjoyed playing video and card games with his brother, parents, and caregivers. Jordin’s eagerness to participate was always expressed by him saying “I do, I do”.
Jordin loved going on camping trips with his parents, brother, grandparents, aunts, and friends. He was a huge New England Patriots fan and had anything with the Patriots logo. Jordin thought that blue was the best color, smiled his biggest smile whenever he was with his friend Chloe, he loved Goldfish crackers, and watching YouTube. He was able to take numerous trips to Iowa, North Carolina, and Florida to spend time with his family. Jordin’s first trip to see the ocean was during a trip to Bethany Beach Delaware in September of 2012. Jordin was a lady’s man and liked to flirt with his bright eyes.
Jordin played baseball with the Maugansville Challenger Little League where he wore the number 8 and bowled with the Challenger Bowling league. He graduated from Marshall Street School June of 2023.
To Jordin’s caregivers, teachers, and bus drivers from over the years, we are forever grateful. He loved you and you made some of the happiest memories he had. The support from the Lesch-Nyhan family we will forever be grateful.
A special thank you to Meritus Hospital, Doey’s House and Douglas Fiery funeral home. Your kindness to Jordin and our family in his final days will never be forgotten.
A memorial service will be held on April 5, 2024 @ 5:30 PM at Douglas Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd N. Hagerstown, MD 21742, Pastor John and Melissa Miller officiating.
Family will receive friends from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm prior to the service.
Inurnment will be private.
