Linda C. Garner *
Linda (Shockey) Garner, 65, of Oxford, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 7:02 p.m. at her residence.
Linda was born on March 5, 1953 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late George and Laura (Wayne) Shockey. She worked as a CNA for 44 years. Linda loved karaoke, going out to eat, and going to the gambling boat.
Surviving are her spouse of 35 years, Roger Garner; seven children, Michael Shockey of Oxford, Donald (wife: Charity) Shockey of West Point, Charles Hill (wife: Lola) Shockey of Lafayette, Andrea Winston of Oxford, Brian Shockey Jr. of Fowler, Richard (wife: Misty) Shockey of Lafayette, and Alex Burns of Lafayette; two siblings, Gary (wife: Louise) Shockey of Pennsylvania and Brian Shockey of Lafayette; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers.
