Linda grew up in Elk City and lived her whole life on or near Madison Street. Her greatest pride was her horse Pokey, that she rode in the Elk City Rodeo of Champions Parade and The Grand Entry at the Rodeo. After graduation Linda held various jobs, but the first official position was at the Elk City Pants Factory. Later, Linda commuted to Clinton and worked over fifteen years at the Kellwood Manufacturing Company as a seamstress. Due to Linda’s hard work she was able to purchase her own home which was located in her old neighborhood where she lived until her health failed in February of 2022, when she moved to Bell Avenue Nursing Center in Elk City, Oklahoma.
