Lloyd Eugene Shockey
Lloyd Eugene “Buckie” Shockey, 69, of Winston Salem, NC, formerly of Waynesboro, PA was called home at 11:58 PM, Wednesday, January 11th, 2017 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, NC.
Lloyd was born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania on June 1, 1947, a son of the late Anna Mary (Crider) Smith.
He attended the Waynesboro Area Sr. High School and achieved his GED.
He Order Picker at Radio Shack Hagerstown, MD prior to retiring. Prior to that he worked for Roterex; Mobil Gas Station on South Potomac Street, Waynesboro and Landis Tool Company.
He attended Grace Baptist Church.
Lloyd is survived by son, Lloyd Eugene, husband of Trista Huss Bucher Sr., of Winston Salem, NC; two daughters, Laurie, companion Vincent Starr Northrup, of Winton Salem, NC; April Bucher, of Winston Salem, NC; a step son, Guy Yeager, of Hunlock Creek, PA. Lloyd is also survived by two brothers, Robert “Bobby”, husband of Barb Starliper Shockey, of Waynesboro, PA; Earl “Harry” Shockey, of Waynesboro, PA. He is also survived by grandchildren Calisya Bucher, Lloyd Eugene Bucher, Jr.; Christopher Young; Ayden Bucher, Kelsey Murray; Michael Northrup; Samantha Northrup; Step Children: Isabella “Izzy” Owens; Evan Owens in addition to his wife preceded in death by grandson Alexander Michael Eugene Bucher.
