Lucille L Cole *

Born June 24, , in Fall River, Kan., she was the daughter of Roy and Marie Blinn . She married Alvin . They divorced. On Dec. 23, , she married Raymond “Red” F. in Cantril. He died July 12, .

Mrs. Cole was a homemaker and worked as a nurse’s aide in and for Parkview Care Center in Fairfield. She also did home health care.

She was a graduate of Princeton High School in Princeton, Kan. She moved to Richland in 1969, to Van Buren County in 1978 and Stockport in . She was a member of Stockport Christian Church.

Survivors include four sons, Ernie Jenkins of Des Moines, David Jenkins of Wyaconda, Mo., Jenkins of Keosauqua and Timothy Jenkins of Weldon; two daughters, Katie Daley of Fairfield and Betty Lockwood of Winlock, Wash.; one stepdaughter, Roiann Louise Thomas of Keosauqua; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, C.R. Donart of Kansas; and one sister, Arliss Holdeman of Kansas.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son and one sister.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to the time of service Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua. There will be no family visitation.

The funeral for Mrs. Cole will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home, with Pastor Dean Kuster officiating. Burial will be in Pittsburg Cemetery of Keosauqua.

A memorial has been established.
