Margle Helman *
Margle Lee (Hose) Helman, age 84, of Moorefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the E. A. Hawse Healthcare Center in Baker, WV. Born on September 12, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Roy Overton Hose, Sr. and Nancy Lee (Shockey) Hose. Her former husband, Ralph Wright Helman, preceded her in death in April 1999. Margle was also preceded in death by a grandson, Curtis Wright Helman; a granddaughter, Susan Catherine Helman; four brothers: Blair Hose, Roy “Peanut” Hose, Floyd “Tiny” Hose, and Paul Hose; and one sister, Thelma (Hose) Stump. A devout Christian, Margle was a member of the Moorefield Assembly of God Church.
Margle enjoyed being outdoors on her swing when the weather permitted. She worked on many, many puzzles in her later years and watched lots of westerns on the Inspiration TV Channel.
Margle is survived by three children: Ralph J. Helman (Debra), Purgitsville, WV; Marylou (Helman) Wilson, Moorefield, WV; and Kevin A. Helman, Moorefield, WV. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Justin Helman; Samuel Helman (Loretta Storey); Jason Hyre (Miriam); John Helman (Megan); Hanna Alt (Alex Lower); and Madison Helman (Trevor Srout), her great-grandchildren: Uriah Helman, Avery Helman, Evelynn Helman, Jesse Eye, Hartley Eye, Laura Hyre, and Logan Helman; two sisters: Emma Jean (Hose) Mowery and Dorothy (Hose) Davy, both of Moorefield, WV and one brother, Alston Hose, Moorefield, WV, and a number of nephews and nieces.
Funeral Services will be conducted 12:00 PM (noon) Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Wade Armentrout officiant. Interment will follow in the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services on Saturday.
