Martha Shaw *
Martha Jane Rock Shaw, 69, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Franciscan Health.
She was born on June 4, 1950 in Lafayette to the late Howard Rock Sr. and Pearl Kerfoot Young.
Martha graduate from Carroll High School with the class of 1968.
She worked many years for Central Labs then she went on to work as a store manager for Village Pantry.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Delphi.
Martha enjoyed cooking out with family, board games, tending her farm on Farmville, but most of all she enjoyed time spent with her kids and grand kids.
Surviving are her children, John D. (Sherry) Shaw of Oklahoma City, Lois Charlene Balser of Lafayette, and Loy Shaw (Karlie) Jr. of Logansport and her siblings, Shirley (Gordon) Ingle of Lafayette, Beulah Stewart of Monticello, Howard (Sondra) Rock Jr of Reynolds, and Robert (Gloria) Rock Sr of Ohio. Also surviving are her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Jo Campbell; her grandson, Kirkland Conley; and her siblings, Herb, Wilber, Jim, and Ethel.
Due to the current restrictions there will be a private service held on Friday at 1 pm at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Lafayette. Burial will follow in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
