Marvin Andrew Heck
Marvin A. Heck, 58, a resident of New Waverly, and a former resident of Huntington, died unexpectedly Friday in the Memorial Hospital at Logansport. He had undergone surgery and death occurred in the recovery ro om of the hospital.
He was born in Huntington County on April 17, 1909, to Theodore and Elta Sickafoos (sic) Heck, and his marriage was to Clara Mae Adams. He had been employed with the Cripe Elevator Co. as a carpenter.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Morris Jennings, Marion, Mrs. Richard Cotner, Rt. 4, Peru, a brother Melvin, of Huntington. Two sisters, Mrs. Mary Mahoney, Rochester, N.Y. and Mrs. Iva Snyder, Holland, Mich. There are also six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Fisher Funeral Home in Logansport Sunday after 2 p.m. and funeral services will be held there Monday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Robert Shoemaker officiating.
Burial will be in the Miami Baptist Cemetery.”
