Mary F Hagood *
EATON — Mary Frances (Willsey) Hagood, 89, of Eaton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton.
Born on Aug. 14, 1933, in Seven Mile, Butler County, she was the daughter of the late, Carl G. & Cecilia R. (Shockey) Willsey.
Mary was a caretaker of the Preble County Fairgrounds for 17 years and a member of the Church of God in Oxford.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Burrell C. “Bill” Hagood; sons Charles Hagood, James Hagood, and Roger Hagood and brothers William E. Willsey and Fred Willsey.
She is survived by her sister Margie Finley; sister-in-law Nancy Willsey; several nephews and a niece.
Funeral services, noon, Friday, Jan. 13, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, with interment at Hopewell Cemetery in Morning Sun. Visitation, 11 a.m.-noon, Friday, Jan. 13, at the funeral home in Eaton.
