Mary Nancy Morey
Mary Nancy Morey, daughter of Anthony Heaverlo and Louisa May Butler, was born at Newton, Iowa on Dec. 10, 1891 and passed away at Spirit Lake Aug. 29, 1959 at the age of 67 years, eight months and 19 days.
She was united in marriage to Edgar E. Morey in March of 1922. She was financial secretary of Degree of Honor and a member of Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are; one daughter, Margaret Reimers of Orleans; two sister, Ollie Bahl and Lela Zipse of Spirit Lake; one brother, James Heaverlo of Jackson, Minn.; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held at the Harpole Funeral Home Tuesday, Sept. 1st with the Rev. C. B. Wittstruck Officiating. Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery in Spirit Lake. Pallbearers were J. Earl Miller, Al Dumig, Bob Pugh, Fred Dowden Jr., Robert Martinson and George Fisher.
