Mildred A Bell
Columbiana – Mildred A. “Millie” Bell, 98, formerly of North Main Street, died at 12:50 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana.
Mrs. Bell was born October 7, 1916 at Columbiana, a daughter of the late Charles and Isadora Harrold Sheely and had lived in this area all of her life.
She was a homemaker and had also worked at the Salem Community Hospital and the former Country Corner Restaurant. She was a member of Grace Church and the Friendly Sunday School Class of the church. She had been a member of the Columbiana BPW, the Epsilon Sorority, and worked with the Board of Elections for 30 years.
Her husband, Edgar Bell, whom she married August 7, 1936 died May 28, 1976.
She is survived by two daughters, Maralyn (Larry) Porter and Jean (David) Hanna and a son Tom (Cheryl) Bell, all of Columbiana; seven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Darren Hanna; two sisters, Mabel Schultz and Mary Weber; and a brother, Wolford Sheely.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Rev. Dr. Robert C. Joy officiating. Burial will follow in Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
