Mrs. Blanche Lavelle Marks
Mrs. Blanche Lavelle Marks, 75, of Latrobe RD 1 died Saturday morning in the Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born June 26, 1897, in Parnassus, Pa. She was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church Youngstown. Surviving are her husband, George F. Marks; children, Edward C., Mrs. Herman (Mary Louise) Huhn, Mrs. Ivan (Audrey) Chambers, Audry Marks and Mrs. Robert (Melcena) Lundquist; sisters, Mrs. Florence Adams and Mrs. Winifred Burlett; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Korbett, in 1942. Friends will be received in James P Gaut Funeral Home, Pleasant Unity, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 pm daily after 7 pm Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday in St. James Lutheran Church, Youngstown, with the Rev. Robert C. Schlotler officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
