Mrs. Ethel Craig
Mrs. Ethel Craig, 38, wife of Howard Craig, 1126 Maiden Lane, died at 11:55 p.m. Thursday in the Clark County Sanatorium after an extended illness. She was born Feb 4, 1909, at New Carlisle, Route 3, in the home where her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. D. Shockey, reside. Mrs. Craig lived in Springfield approximately 20 years and was a member of Central Methodist Church. Survivors are her husband, a son, Howard, Jr., and a daughter, Mary Martha, all at home; her parents, four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Smith, Urbana; Mrs. Helen Wilson, Springfield, Route 1; Mrs. Katherine Dunipace, Bowling Green, O., and Miss Dorothy Shockey, Toledo, and two brothers, Robert Shockey, New Carlisle, Route 3, and Harry Shockey, Springfield. The body was removed to Littleton funeral home.
