Mrs. Grace Susan Forry
Mrs. Grace Susan Forry, 60, 1000 Pennsylvania Ave., wife of Raymond W. Forry, died Tuesday morning at the Washington County Hospital. She was the daughter of Edward M. and Susan Bare Shockey and was born near Shady Grove, Pa. She had resided in Hagerstown for 44 years. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren and the Altruistic Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Fahrney-Keedy Home. She had been employed at Moller Organ Works. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joanne F. Wilson, Lancaster, Pa.; sister, Mrs. Nannie Downs, and brother, Harry H. Shockey, both of Hagerstown. Services will be held at the Norment Funeral Home on Friday at 11 a.m. The Rev. DeWitt L. Miller will officiate. Burial in Rest Haven Cemetery.
