Mrs. Hazel E. Toms
MRS. HAZEL E. TOMS, 75, widow of John M. Toms of 116 N. Prince St., a former resident of Waynesboro, died Friday at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born in Waynesboro, a daughter of John H. and Ruth Pryor Shockey. She had lived most of her life in the Waynesboro area, moving to Shippensburg in 1963. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ. She is survived by daughter, Mrs. Kermit Stouffer of Shippensburg; two grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Gertrude Trostle of Waynesboro. Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Grove Funeral Home in Waynesboro. The Rev. Warron 0. Ziegler will officiate; burial in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 7 to 9.
