Mrs. Mae J. Shockey
FINZEL — Mrs. Mae J. Shockey, 72, of Finzel, died Friday night in Meyersdale Community hospital following an illness ot six months. She had been in the hospital since April 9. Her husband, Henry Shockey, preceded her in death. Born in Salisbury, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Mary (Hetrick) Jones. She was a member of the Frostburg Jehovah’s Witnesses. She is survived by four sons, Carl Shockey, Akron, Ohio; Harold Shockey, Johnstown, Pa., and Leonard and Roy Shockey, both of Finzel; two daughters, Mrs. Nelson Werner, Finzel, and Mrs. Raymond McKenzie, Ravenna, Ohio; a stepson, Edison Skockey, Akron, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Harold Willey, Barberton, Ohio; a brother, George Jones, St. Petersburg, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Herbert Gobel, Zanesville, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg; interment Greenville Cemetery.
