Mrs. Naomi G. Shockey
Mrs. Naomi G. Shockey, 71, of RD 4, Meyersdale, was dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital Thursday. Born in Sand Patch, she was the daughter of the late Christ and Martha (Murray) Mankamyer. Surviving are her husband, Lewis Shockey; four sons, Lewis Shockey Jr., Highland, Mich., Dale Shockey, Cumberland; Rev. James Shockey, Corriganville, Md.; Edward Shockey, Wellersburg; two daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Crissinger, Meyersdale; Mrs. Audrey Thierry, Waverly, Tenn.; a brother, Elmer Mankamyer, LaVale, four sisters, Mrs. Mary Conroy, Elyria, Ohio; Mrs. Viola Petenbrink, Orlando, Fla.; Mrs. Florence Rochow, Bedford; Mrs. Leora Wright; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The body was at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where friends were received. Services were held Sept. 26 at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Stewart officiating. Interment was in Temple Cemetery, Meyersdale.
