Mrs. Ometa Shockey

Mrs. Ometa , 84, of 802 S. Limestone St., died Tuesday evening in the Nursing Home following one year of failing health. She was born April 6, , in Springfield, a daughter of William and Elizabeth and had resided in County and Springfield all of her life. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Margaret of Springfield, Mrs. Helen of the Carlisle Pk., Mrs. Katherine Dunipace of Penderville, O., and Miss Dorothy Shockey of Dayton; one son, Harry of Pensacola, Fla. Mrs. Ometa Shockey—Funeral rites will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Richards Memorial Home for Mrs. Ometa Shockey, 84, of 802 S. Limestone St. Burial will be in Donnelsville Cemetery. Friends call in the funeral home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Shockey died Tuesday in the Phillips Nursing Home. Her health had been failing for the past year.
