Mrs. Sarah Shockey
MRS. SARAH SHOCKEY, widow of W. C. Shockey, died at the home of her son, Earl Shockey, 497 south Central avenue at 9.30 o’clock Tuesday evening, her death resulting from congestion of the brain after she had suffered an illness of ten day‘s duration. The deceased was born in Hamilton county, Ohio, and came to this city many years ago. Her venerable husband died five years ago and the surviving members of the immediate family includes four sons and one daughter. The sons are all well known citizens, including Len, Earl, William and Charles Shockey. The funeral services will be held at the bereaved home on south Central avenue at 9 o’clock Thursday morning and interment will be made in Fairmount cemetery.
