Nicholas L. Shockey
Nicholas L. Shockey, 64, of Marion, Indiana went to be with the Lord at 7:50 pm on Friday, February 2, 2018, at his residence. A self-employed painter, he was born to David H. Shockey and Lila Lake Sellers Shockey in Wabash, Indiana on December 2, 1953. They preceded him in entering the gates of Heaven.
He is survived by a daughter Alisa I. March of Roanoke, IN; daughter Rachel M. Depoy of Marion, IN; son Todd J. Shockey of Peru, IN; and a step-son Mark A. Howard of Wabash, IN; as well as seven grandchildren. Also surviving are brother David Shockey of Peru, IN; brother Anthony Shockey of Peru, IN; brother Daniel Shockey of Tennessee; sister Pamela Kokta of Peru, IN; and step-sister Tracy Sullivan of Texas.
Friends may call from 11 am – 2 pm on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 2 pm, with Pastor Alton Johns officiating. Burial will take place at Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.
