Patricia Minix *
Patricia “Patty” Holbrook Minix age 60 of Jim Arnett Branch Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Paul B Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was born November 20, 1957 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Dewey Kel Holbrook and Nora Eva Burton Montgomery, who survives. She was the wife of Terry Minix, who also survives.
Survivors also include one son, Rodney Earl Minix of Salyersville, Kentucky, two daughters, Nora Michelle Rudd of Owensville, Kentucky, and Ashley Minix of Salyersville, Kentucky, two brothers, Wilbur Lee Holbrook of Salyersville, Kentucky, and Dewey Douglas Holbrook of Ezel, Kentucky, four sisters Brenda Ulery and Eva Riddle both of Owingsville, Kentucky, Betty Jackson of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, and Maxine Prater of Salyersville, Kentucky. Nine grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
In addition to her father, Patty is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Earl Holbrook and Scotty Wayne Holbrook.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Friday, August 31, 2018 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Minix officiating. Burial will follow in the Minix Cemetery at Will May Branch, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6 pm Wednesday, August 29, 2018, all day Thursday, and anytime Friday prior to funeral services.
