Richard P. Fisher

PERU-Richard P , Sr, 43, Wabash, a native of Peru, died at 5:30 am Sunday in the St Joseph Hospital, Fort after five weeks’ illness.

Born 21 in Peru, he was the son of B and Mary L Guynn Fisher. He had lived in Wabash for 15 yers and was part owner of the Friendly Nursing Home in Peru. He was married on April 16 1946 to M , who survives.

Other survivors are three sons, Richard Jr, Hanover College; Michael of Kemper Military School and College in Missouri and Joseph, at home and a daughter, Mary Tamson Fisher, at home.

He was a vertan of World War II, a member of the HOly Trinity Episcopal Church in Peru; Real Estate Assn,;Uabash [Wabash?] Board of Realtors, National shopping Center Assn.; Masonic Lodge at Roann, Scottish Rite and Shrine at Fort Wayne, American Legion, Elks, Mabash [Wabash?] Country Club and Rotary Club. 

Funeral services will be at 11 am Wednesday in the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Peru with the Rev Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Wabash. 

Friends may call at the Eddingfield Mortuary in Wabash. 

The Roann Masonic Lodge will conduct services at the funeral home at 7:30 pm today and the Wabash American Legion will conduct graveside services.
