Robert Coffman *
WESTVILLE – Robert Coffman, 82 of Westville, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 in VanCrest of Urbana.
He was born April 24, 1941 in Urbana, Ohio, the son of the late Edward G. and Louise (Crabill) Coffman.
Robert was a true outdoorsman. He loved to hunt game, mushrooms, and fish. He was also an avid Ohio State fan, always wearing his scarlet and gray with pride. Robert served his country with honor during his time in the Army as a Paratrooper.
Robert is survived by his sister, Betty (Tom) Shockey; nephews, David Shockey, Eric Shockey; niece, Ann (Pat) Kilyk; and cousin, Shelly (Jim) Pinti.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio. The family encourages those in attendance to wear OSU attire in honor of Robert.
A graveside service will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
