Robert Harold Borders
Robert Harold Borders, 78, of 1190 Brentlinger Rd., died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at his home. Born Nov. 10, 1895 in Hardin County, he was the son of William and Rachael Lyle Borders.
He married the former Hope Creps, who died April 15, 1972.
Survivors include two brothers, George, of Kingston, and Dale of San Diego, Calif.; a niece, Mrs. Virginia Headapohl of 1520 Hazel Ave., and several other nieces and nephews.
Mr. Borders, a member of Westminster United Methodist Church, was retired from Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton. He was a member of Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo, Disabled American Veterans, the BLH 25-year club, Lafayette F and Am Lodge 513 and taught Sunday school for 50 years.
Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Lewis Memorial Chapel of Chiles and Sons Laman, Rev. George Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Salem Westminster Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be 8 p.m. Friday.
