Robert J. Campbell *

Robert Joseph “Bob” , 59, of Lafayette was found passed away at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 28, in his residence. He had been in failing health for the last six years.

He was born February 17, in Lafayette to June Avanelle () Campbell and the late Robert Francis Campbell and attended Frontier High School.

Mr. Campbell was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Marines.

His marriage was to Linda Seyfried on 3, in Lafayette at the First Church of the Nazarene. She survives.

Bob was a Semi-truck driver for many years. He also worked in car sales for Bob Rohrman, for Wabash National and drove an ambulance and taxi.

Bob enjoyed fishing, using his computer, poetry and going out to eat. He had a great sense of humor and was always joking with friends and family.

Surviving with his mother; June Campbell- and his wife Linda are a step-son, Dustin (wife: Ernelie); a granddaughter, Chloe; two half brothers, Joe Bowyer (wife: Marlene) and Tom Bowyer (wife: Arlene) and two half sisters, Marjorie Cooley (husband: John) and Tonda Courtney (husband: Gary) and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lafayette First Church of the Nazarene (201 Veterans Memorial Pkwy E Lafayette, IN 47905 Just East of Meijer Grocery); Pastor Troy Hockstetlar to officiate.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Bob Campbell Memorial Fund. Memorials may be given during service times.
