Robert Lloyd Shockey *
Robert “Bob” Lloyd Shockey, 65, Pueblo, went to be with the Lord on Oct 31 2008. Beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Preceded in death by his mother Ruth Shockey and son in law Gary Gallegos. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Theresa Shockey; children Valerie Gallego, Robert [Janell] Shockey and Barbara Shockey; grand children Brenda [Jared] Conley, Chantel [David] Espinoza, Amanda Shockey, Danielle Shockey, Robert “RJ” Shockey and Gary Gallegos; great grandson Christina Espinoza; siblings Tomas [Nisha] Shockey and Irene [Larry] Diaz; and numerous nephews, nieces, godchildren, in laws, other family and friends. Bob formerly was employed at Grocery Warehouse County Market for the last 24 years. Bob enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, playing pool and poker. Bob was very compassionate and always was helping others. His greatest love was his family. He loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and adored his new great grandson. Viewing 2-6 pm today, Romero Chapel. Funeral Mass, noon, Wednesday, Holy Family Church. Cremation to follow. Family and friends were received at the church hall following service.
