Ruth M Puppo *
Our beloved mom, Ruth Marie Puppo passed away peacefully after a brief illness in San Jose.
Ruth was born in French Camp, CA, married her husband Al in 1951 and raised 3 beautiful children in their San Jose home, they were married for 65 years and enjoyed a wonderful life together.
Ruth loved gardening, cooking, shopping for antiques and vintage jewelry. She also loved spending time in the great outdoors in Bear Valley, and watching football and swing dancing to big band music with Al. She carried on family holiday traditions and had a great sense of style.
Preceded in death by her husband Al, and son Larry, survived by daughters Lilette (Lou) Shockey, Jamie (Mark) Meier, granddaughters Dresden (Joe), Miranda, grandson Zachary, great granddaughters Leila, Ashley, and McKenna.
Special thanks to the caregivers and staff at Familiar Surroundings, Villa Fontana, and Hospice of the Valley.
Private services have been held.
