Tom Perrin Sr., age 73 of Nickelsville, VA passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Indian Path Medical Center. He was born in Lima, Ohio on June 14, 1943, and was the son of the late John Joseph Perrin and Norma Davis Perrin.

Other than his parents Tom was also preceded in death by his sister, grandparents, favorite aunt and uncle, and special mother-in-law. He was a member of Nickelsville Baptist Church. He organized Handicap Benefits and was a life member of Amvets. Tom also loved Nascar.

Mr. Perrin is survived by his wife Lois Mays Perrin; a son Tom Perrin Jr. and wife Susan; 2 grandchildren, Autumn Thatcher and husband Dylan, and Jake Perrin; a great grandson, Randy Thatcher; a brother, Dennis Perrin; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 19, 2016 from 5 to 8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City, VA and anytime at the home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 1 PM in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Fletcher and Rev. Steve Collins officiating, and Tom Perrin Jr. providing the Eulogy. Music will be provided by Zella Graham and Tim Baldwin. Burial will follow at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Military honors provided by American Legion Post #3/265 and Virginia National Guard. Pallbearers will be Dave Bevins, Phil Owens, Riley Chon, Howard Broadwater, CH Presley, and Roger Russell. Honorary Pallbearers are Bob Mays, Jonathan Broadwater, and Brian Ashbaugh

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
