Tressie I. Shoemaker

TRESSIE I. SHOEMAKER, 62, Fayetteville R. 1, a seasonal employee for the last 15 years at the Musselman plant, Biglerville, died Thursday at her home after an illness of five weeks.  Born in Quincy Township, Franklin County, she was the daughter of Elmer C. , Waynesboro, R. 1. and the late Mrs. Rosie V. Welsh Shockey.  In her early life, she lived in Fairview. Following her marriage to William W. Shoemaker, she and her husband made their home at Quincy and for the past six years she lived at the Fayetteville address.  Her husband died in October, . She is a member of the Rock United Brethren Church.  In addition to her father, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Kathleen , Fayetteville R. 1; five brothers: Ray H. Shockey, C. Shockey and Orville Shockey, all of Waynesboro R. 1; Earl E. Shockey, Waynesboro R. 4; and Glen R Shockey, Greencastle R 3; and a number of nieces and nephews.  Services were held Sunday at the Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro.  Officiating was Rev. Donald and Rev. Peter . Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
