Viola Packman
Viola Packman, 58, of Mechanicsburg died at Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana, Wednesday afternoon. The daughter of Pearl B. and Annis V Ferryman Garey, she was born March 20, 1921. Her husband Robert preceded her in death in 1971. She is survived by two daughters, Debra at home and Mrs. Barbara Bard of Mechanicsburg and one son, Gary, of Florida. Also surviving are three grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Addis of Plain City, Mrs Jesse Schalip of Marysville, Mrs Nettie Dodge of Marysville and Mrs Loila Newton of Santa Maria, Calif.; and two brothers, Robert Garey of Springfield and Bud Garey of Urbana. Graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Woodstock Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Summerfield officiating.
