Virginia Mae Poage Davis, age 77, of Friendship Manor died Saturday morning in a local hospital. She as the widow of John Charles Davis. Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Nancy Peters, Copper Hill; a devoted friend, Billy Layman. Services will be conducted at the Cryptside 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28,1987 at Ferncliff Abby in Evergreen Cemetery, vith Dr. H. R. Thompson officiating. Friends may call at Oakey’s Roanoke Chapel.
