William Robert Shockey Jr.
William R. Shockey Jr., age 54, of Jenison, passed away, Sunday, December 17, 2006 after a 2 year battle with leukemia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Shockey, mother-in-law Gertrude Krol and brother-in-law Robert Krol. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Lois; his daughter, Lisa (Kurt) Schenk of Lowell; his father, William (Connie) Shockey Sr. of Florida; his brothers and sisters, John (Darlene) Shockey of Ohio, Sandy Shockey of Allendale, Donna (Van) Yielding of Georgia, David (Alishia) Shockey of Georgia; step-brother, Steve Lampson of Eaton Rapids; step-sisters, Renee (Patrick) DuBois of Texas and Michelle (Paul) Nicholas of California; father-in-law, Robert Krol of Jenison; special cousin, Susie; and many extend family and dear friends. Bill had worked for West Michigan Sprinkling for over 20 years, and more recently with Eclipse Energy Systems. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, (East building) 4235 Prairie St. SW, the family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville, (West building).
