Grover B Shockey *
G. “Ben” Shockey, 77, of Watts, Oklahoma, died December 8, 2023, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on August 9, 1946, to Orville Shockey and Pauline Shockey in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Ben married the love of his life, Beverly Loftis, on September 20, 1980, in Centerton, Arkansas. Ben was a true cowboy and rancher.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, JoAnn Duncan.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Shockey of the home; daughter, Shauna Williams and husband Kenny of Owasso, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Anthony Powell of Austin, Texas, and Heather Blundell and husband Will of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; one great grandchild, Bailey Shockey of the home; three step-grandchildren, Reagan Williams of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Emma Nash and husband Chad of Grove City, Ohio, and Sage Williams and wife Yahira of West Carrollton, Ohio; three step-great-grandchildren, Taylor Sizemore of Westville, Oklahoma, Dillion Sizemore, and Tucker Sizemore of Fort Smith, Arkansas; brother, David Shockey of Healy, Alaska; niece, Becky Scott of Elk City, Oklahoma; and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2023, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Impact Church in Westville, Oklahoma.
